Our team works on key development issues aimed at the advancement of the poor, women and other vulnerable groups in Pakistan. We focus on three main fields of research: one, theorizing political economy; two, exploring the social sector, with an emphasis on education, health, microfinance and community driven development; and three, investigating industrial innovation and agglomeration. CREB continuously strives to improve the quality of its research by building capabilities and skills of its researchers, ensuring they meet highest international ethical standards, encouraging them to get their work published in higher ranked academic journals, supporting them to form linkages with local and international researchers and expanding their portfolio of research projects funded from competitive external grants and the Lahore School’s Research Development Fund grants programme.
